Everything here, even when the internet isn't.
Right now your Command Center lives on our website. The offline version puts all of it on your own devices: your supplies and expiration dates, kits, caches, maps, Morse code, calculators, Emergency Mode and the full survival library.
- Works with no signal or power grid. Phone, tablet, laptop or a USB drive.
- Offline Sync keeps every device current. Change something in the shed, tap Sync later, and the rest catch up.
- Pay once. $20 for your whole household. No subscription, free updates.
Welcome
Getting started
Add expiration dates in Supplies and anything due in the next 90 days shows up here.
Risk check
Rate how likely each event is where you live and how hard it would hit your household. Your top risks set which pillars your plan works on first.
These drive your weekly plan, dashboard, course recommendations, suggested kit items and map layers.
The live version sets starting values from FEMA's National Risk Index for your county. In this mockup it loads demo values.
Supplies
| Item | Pillar | Qty | Unit cost | Value | Location | Expires | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total shown | $0 | ||||||
Kit builder
Add, edit and photograph what's in each kit. Share a kit to the kit feed and the community can vote and suggest items.
Offline library
Build your own survival library. Browse free, open-licensed collections and our own courses and videos, add what you want, and it syncs to your devices for use with no internet.
Maps
Download maps for the areas you care about. They update on their own whenever you're online, so they're current when the grid goes down.
Downloaded maps
States
Paper backup
Print map sheets of your downloaded areas with your caches, rally points and routes marked, for when every battery is dead.
Mockup: the map is a drawing and downloads are simulated. The real app uses OpenStreetMap data and works with your phone's GPS without cell signal.
Cache map
Coordinates are locked with a PIN only you know. They are encrypted on this device before they are saved, so not even we can read them.
Calculators
Prefilled from your household. Change any number.
Water
1 gallon per person per day, about 1 quart per pet.
Generator runtime
Rough estimate. Run outdoors, 20 ft from windows and doors.
Food
| Food | Share | Cal/unit | Cost/unit | Units | Cost |
|---|
Solar and battery
Sun hours default to an Indiana winter day; summer is closer to 5. Includes about 15% loss.
Garden planner
Pick a plant, then tap or drag across squares. Each square is 1 ft × 1 ft, and spacing is filled in for you.
Central Indiana is about zone 6a. Taller plants (tomatoes, corn, trellised peas) go on the north side so they don't shade the rest.
| Plant | Plants | How | When | First harvest | Yield (est.) |
|---|
Yields and dates are typical averages. Adjust the frost date for your area.
Morse code
Translate, practice and send by sound, light or vibration. Works fully offline.
Send it
Vibration works on most Android phones. iPhones don't let websites vibrate.
Practice key
Press and hold to key your own message. A short press is a dot, a longer one is a dash. Pause for a letter gap, pause longer for a new word. You can also hold the space bar while the key is selected.
Reference
Tap any letter to hear it.
- SOS · ··· ––– ··· sent with no gaps between letters
- Three of anything (flashes, whistles, shots) means distress
- AR end of message · K go ahead · R received
